This package includes 60g of henna and the glue that allows you to make beautiful henna.
The henna (diébé in soninké) is generally applied the day before the wedding, it is in any case what is done for soninké weddings, it seems to me that it is the same for weddings in Islam.
Henna is applied on the hands, feet, and it is becoming more and more fashionable to apply it on the body by designing the new family name of the bride.
It is said that henna symbolizes the baraka of the union.
How to use the henna?
Pour the 60g of henna, and mix it with 20g of powdered sugar and possibly 5ml of essential oil, add water gradually to the mixture
Mix it all together until you get a paste, don't put too much water so that the preparation is not too liquid.
Once the mixture is done, wrap it and let it rest for 24 hours.
Use the glue to make patterns on your feet or hands (use on exfoliated and clean feet/hands, otherwise the glue will not take :(
Once the glue is applied on the desired part, spread the henna paste. To make the application easier you can add a little bit of water again gradually.
After application, wrap your foot in a plastic bag with a sock, ideally leave the henna on overnight
Ps: If you are pregnant, do not use essential oil :)
